Progress reports for middle school students go home on
Wednesday, October 8th! If you find your child is
struggling in any subject or if you are looking for a
little extra support on homework, The After School
Action Program (ASAP) is an excellent Georgetown ISD
program that is here to help!
The After School Action Program can provide homework
assistance and tutorials by certified teachers, as well
as small group assistance with Southwestern University
Students.
Each day the ASAP staff communicates with your child's
teachers to see what assignments need to be completed,
if there is missing work, up-coming tests/ projects,
etc.
ASAP is an amazing resource for a reasonable price. It
is not too late to sign up for this service and a bus
ride home is available.
To sign up simply fill out the ASAP enrollment form and
turn it into the front office or to the ASAP office
Benold Middle School RM #158.

Program office today!

| We kicked off the annual QSP
Magazine Fundraiser with assemblies for all
students. Each student left the assembly with a
packet of information which they should have brought
home September 24th. This
is an important fundraiser for the school as we earn
40% from each item ordered through the program. The
money we earn is used to fund enrichment programs
and activities at the school. Profits are also used
for teachers to purchase supplementary materials,
activities and technology equipment used to enhance
instruction.
Students may turn in order forms to their
homeroom teachers on Friday, Oct 3 and Wednesday,
Oct 15. The easiest way to place your order is by
clicking the picture above and go to the QSP
website. Click
on the SHOP NOW button and enter our school number:
425011270. Make sure you enter your student's name
and homeroom teacher so they get credit for the
orders. Internet orders allow students to earn the
same prizes as the normal order form but you will
receive your magazines quicker. To encourage more
families to use the Internet order system all
students who have magazine orders placed on the
Internet web site by Sunday, September 28 will
receive double Spirit Beads for those orders!
