    School is closed from Monday, 11/23 through Friday, 11/27/15 for Thanksgiving Break. We'll see you on Monday, 11/30/15.

  • Gifted/Talented Referral Window Open 11/2-11/19/15

    Georgetown ISD will begin the referral process for students in grades K-12 on November 2, and ending on November 19th at 5:00 p.m. If an individual wishes to refer a student for G/T qualification, he/she may request the necessary information from the student’s campus counselor. All forms must be completed and returned to the school by 5:00 PM on November 19, 2015.

  • 3 Opportunities to Learn about GISD Gifted & Talented Services and Identification

    GISD is committed to providing an appropriate education for all children. It is the commitment to this belief that shapes the components for Gifted/Talented services and identification. Plan to join in on a brief parent awareness session. This informative hour will include the opportunity for your questions to be answered. Info sessions will be held on: 11/4/15 6:00 at Central Office on Lakeway Drive, 11/9/15 5:00 at Pickett Elementary and 11/12/15 6:00 at Carver Elementary.   • Friday, 12/18/15 - Student Early Release Day

    School will start at its regular time in the morning, but AM PreK/PPCD bus riders will leave at 10:30, car riders/walkers will leave at their regular dismissal time of 11:00. PM PreK/PPCD will not have class today. Kinder - 5th grade students will be released at 11:30 a.m. Buses will transport students home from school at their early release times. Families who use after-school care should make arrangements for their children. Teachers will participate in professional learning after students are released.

    The celebration of Veterans Day is a long-standing tradition in Georgetown ISD.   • Georgetown ISD Voters Approve $160.6 Million Bond package

    On Tuesday, November 3, Georgetown ISD voters approved a $160.6 million bond package that will positively impact the future of our students, the district, and the community we serve. The bond is dedicated to building new facilities and purchasing land to manage growth, renovating existing facilities to provide equity between schools, and addressing other district-wide improvements and infrastructure upgrades.
