My name is Allison Hailey. I am a math interventionist at Frost Elementary.  I have taught many years in Georgetown, including second grade, reading intervention, math intervention, as well as summer science camps to all ages. My father was a high school science teacher and my husband is a math teacher, so I’ve been around science and math almost all my life.  I’m a life-long learner and hope to impart my enthusiasm for learning to your child in class!

I have two grown sons, Wilson and Zach, who went through several different schools in GISD when they were younger.  My husband and I live in Georgetown with our pets.

I’m a runner, a reader, and an eater!  I run with a group of friends and have trained for marathons and ½ marathons about 14 years.  I belong to a local book club and enjoy my time with those women discussing books from a range of topics.  I am enthusiastic about good food, nutrition, cooking, and learning as much as I can about staying healthy by eating well and exercising and taking yoga.

I have high expectations for your child as a learner, and open communication with parents is an important factor!  Please feel free to contact me with questions or concerns throughout the year.
