One of our favorite nights every year is GISD Mentor Movie Night. Thursday, March 5th, Mentors/Mentees are invited to City Lights to see "How to Train Your Dragon 2". For more information, click on the title link to access a parent permission form. Forms are due no later than February 6th.
2nd through 5th Graders are encouraged to become involved in our Bring Your Own Device Program and bring their Smartphone, iPad, etc. to school on designated days. Construction is nearly complete on the new elementary located at 4901 Scenic Lake Drive, which is scheduled to open in August 2015. With a new school comes the need for new attendance zones.
