  • GISD Launches Survey to Gather Input for Graduate Profile

    Now that the education summits have concluded, Georgetown ISD is asking every member of the community to complete the following online survey. The survey is intended to gather additional input from parents, students, community members, and partners to help create the profile of a GISD learner.

  • Public Invited to Instructional Materials Adoption Review

    The Georgetown community is invited to attend a “come-and-go” viewing of the materials that GISD is considering purchasing as supplemental instructional material for K-12 Social Studies, K-12 Fine Arts, and High School Math. Materials for these subject areas are up for selection in 2015 as part of the State Board of Education’s annual instructional materials adoption process.

  • Public Hearing Postponed Due to Inclement Weather

    The Georgetown ISD Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) public hearing scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23 has been postponed due to the possibility of inclement weather. The public hearing has been rescheduled for Monday, March 2 at 6pm in the GISD Board Room.

  • GHS Basketball Playoff Games Rescheduled

    Due to inclement weather, the Georgetown High School Boys and Girls Basketball playoff games have been rescheduled. Please note the new date and time.

  • Weather Update, 12:15pm:

    As a precaution, Georgetown ISD is canceling all after-school activities and events for Monday, February 23, 2015. Schools will continue to operate as normally scheduled today and dismissal will occur at standard release times.

  • 5:25 AM WEATHER UPDATE:

    All Georgetown ISD schools will be opening as regularly scheduled and buses will be running on time. Road conditions are good and precipitation is minimal. We will continue to monitor the weather throughout the day and tomorrow.
