A little about me: I joined Georgetown ISD in 2010 after retiring from the U.S Army with 20 years of service. I get the priviledge of teaching Language Arts and Social Studies.
Education: I attended Rollins College, Florida (Majored in History with a Minor in Education) ESL Certified, GT Certified, and Early Childhood to 6th Grade Certified.
Personal: Hometown Philadelphia. #FLYEAGLESFLY. I enjoy traveling and have been able to live in or visit 23 countries. Previous Job: Assistant Inspector General in Belgium, Europe for troops serving in the BENELUX area (Belgium, Netherlands & Luxemburg)
Served two tours (1990-91 Desert Storm Saudi Arabia, 2009 Baghdad, Iraq)
Humanitarian trips: I've often thought to myself, "What's the purpose of having, if you can't give."
Rio Grande Valley 2017 (Our team delivered food to the community and helped build a local church)
Trinidad 2015 (Assited in leading children activities and providing food to underpriviledge children)
Puerto Rico 2014 (Provided backpacks and school supplies to a small children's school in the town of Anasco)
Guatemala 2013 (Provided direct aid to feeding centers in the the remote mountains near the Guatemala/Honduran border)
Kenya, Africa 2012 (Assited in carpentry work for an abandon children's school and orphanage)
