Assessment, Accountability & Testing
Georgetown Independent School District uses a variety of assessment tools to measure the success of the district's instructional program, including local assessments, classroom observations, and other assessment methods. The district administers the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR) at selected grade levels and the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) for students still needing to complete for graduation.
