I am thrilled to be one of your child's teachers this year! I am a graduate of Pflugerville High School and Southwest Texas State University (now called Texas State University). I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, specializing in Early Childhood. This is my 27th year to teach. I have taught in Georgetown for 8 years. Teaching middle school is a privilege and a blessing. Thank you for entrusting your child to us and allowing us to pour into him/her during these critical years.
I am recently widowed. My husband passed away, in May 2016, after a short battle with kidney cancer. I have one son, Jackson. He is a junior at East View High School. He plays football and baseball. We spend most of our time at sporting events and serving with our church youth group. Family is very important to us, so we cherish the time we are able to spend together. When we have free time, we enjoy spending time in nature and camping. Our three miniature dachshunds are very special to us too and love to go with us anywhere they are allowed. They actually think they are human.
