Principal Profile: Janet Mormon, Ed.D.

    Janet Mormon has been the principal at Frost Elementary since April 2011. 
     
    Dr. Mormon holds a Bachelor of Science in Education with a specialization in reading, a Master of Education in Educational Administration, and has a Doctorate in Education all from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
     
    Prior to serving as principal at Frost, she served as assistant principal at Frost for one year, as an assistant principal in Belton ISD for two years, and taught 5th grade at McCoy Elementary for 14 years. 
     
    Dr. Mormon is very honored and excited to be back in Georgetown serving the community and families and working with the wonderful faculty at Frost Elementary.
  • Assistant Principal Nikki Murphy, Assistant Principal

    Nikki Murphy has been the Assistant Principal at Frost Elementary since August 2014.
    Ms. Murphy has been an educator for over 20 years.  She began her career as a Special Education teacher in San Antonio, Texas.  Later, she moved to Austin and worked in Eanes ISD, serving as a Special Education Teacher, Reading Recovery Specialist and Second Grade Teacher.  Prior to coming to Frost Elementary, Ms. Murphy served as Assistant Principal at Lee Elementary and Bryker Woods Elementary in Austin ISD.  She has served on a variety of committees throughout the years.  She holds an Undergraduate degree and Master's Degree from Texas State University. 
     
    Ms. Murphy grew up in Temple, Texas and enjoys spending time outside with her family!
