Dr. Denny has been an educator for over 30 years. This is his third year with Georgetown ISD as principal of East View High School. He was principal of Thorndale High School for seven years before coming to Georgetown. In addition, he was an administrator with Conroe ISD at Caney Creek High School for six years and served two years as assistant principal at Lake Dallas ISD, including filling in as acting high school principal for the final three months of school. Mr. Denny taught science for over 15 years.Mr. Denny is married to Melanie Denny, Financial Director of Williamson County. They have two sons, Davis and Devin. His interests include reading, movies, sports, and all things Aggie maroon and white.

Rosanne Cantu began her teaching career at her alma mater, Refugio High School, where she taught English and Reading for 7 years. Mrs. Cantu is also certified as an ESL teacher and a Reading Specialist. Mrs. Cantu taught at Georgetown Junior High and Georgetown High School for 15 years before moving into administration. She served as assistant principal at GHS for 6 years before joining the staff at East View during the 2012-2013 school year.Mrs. Cantu is married to Carlos Cantu, GISD Assistant Superintendent for Administrative & Support Services. She has one daughter, Mandy Krause, of Georgetown, and one stepson, Chris Cantu, of Victoria. Mrs. Cantu has four grandchildren: Zane Cantu, Madeline Krause, Evan Cantu, and Reese Krause. Mrs. Cantu enjoys spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren, reading, and traveling.

After teaching a year of Junior HIgh and High School Choir in Lancaster, Texas, right out of college, Mrs. Gurley
spent 15 years teaching elementary music; 9 of those years for GISD. In 2010, she went to Killeen High School as an Assistant Principal, where she served 3 years. As she begins 2013 at East View High School, many of her students from years ago at Pickett and Mitchell elementary are now students here!
Mrs. Gurley just celebrated 30 years of marriage to her high school sweetheart, Bob. They have three grown children, Stacy (who lives in Wyoming and works as a ranch barn manager), Katy (who lives in Austin and works as a nanny and professional photographer), and Trey (who is a Senior this year at East View High School). For fun, she loves to take big family trips with eveyone in tow, and cultivate her yard, pool, and flowers. Mrs. Gurley feels so very blessed to get a chance to serve at East View High School where she has been a Patiot fan from the beginning!!!

Mr. Garza is a retired U.S. Marine with 21 years of service. He has been an Assistant Principal at East View High School (formerly the GISD Ninth Grade Center) since 2008. Before he came to GISD he was a Counselor at McNeil High School for three years, and a teacher/coach at Stony Point High School.
Mr. Garza is married to Leticia and has two daughters, Ciera and Carisa. He spends his spare time watching his daughters play High School Volleyball and attending as many East View student events as possible. GO PATRIOTS!

After working at Caldwell High School right out of college teaching social studies, he taught Texas History at Tippit Middle School for three years. In 2006, he left to be a principal at Barlett ISD. He spent 5 years as the Elementary Principal and the last two years as the sole district Principal, PreK through 12th grade. Dr. Reese has been at East View since the 2013-2014 school year.
Dr. Reese is married to a second grade teacher, Desiree', and has 2 daughters, Lilly and Lucy. Between spending time with his family, Dr. Reese enjoys Cowboys football, Round Rock Express games, and everything Aggie! He feels extremely blessed to come back to Georgetown ISD as a Patriot! #beliEVe
