Principal Profile: Cade Smith

Smith Cade Smith is the campus principal of Georgetown High School.  Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science from Southwest Texas State University in addition to a Masters in Educational Administration from Lamar University. 
 
Prior to Georgetown High School, Mr. Smith served in the Associate Principal and Assistant Principal roles at Frisco High School in Frisco ISD.  He also served as an Administrative Leader in Allen ISD and as a Teacher/Coach at Allen and Kaufman High Schools.  He began his teaching career in Lockhart. 

Mr. Smith is married and has two children.

Associate Principal (Gb - I): Andrew Maddox

Mr. Maddox Andrew Maddox is the Associate Principal. Mr. Maddox has a Bachelors of Science in Technology Education from Adams State College and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Northern Colorado.

Mr. Maddox has 18 years experience as a campus principal. Mr. Maddox goal for GHS is to provide a rigorous, nurturing, learner-centered atmosphere which bases all decisions on its students' academic and personal achievement.

Mr. Maddox's hobbies are: reading, biking, outdoors, cooking, woodworking, computer coding, and learning.

Assistant Principal (A - Ga): Mike Miller

Mike Miller

Mr. Miller earned a Bachelors of Science in Science Education at The University of Texas at Austin minoring in Astronomy and Geology, as well as a Master of Theology degree in Bible Exposition from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Masters in Educational Administration from Southwest Texas State University and superintendent certification from Tarleton State. 

 

Mr. Miller is in his 15th year as a high school administrator, serving his first five years at Belton High School before returning to serve at Georgetown High School as an administrator in 2004. Prior to being an administrator he taught middle school and high school science beginning with one year in Lake Travis ISD and then nine in Georgetown.

 

Mr. Miller and his family have lived in Georgetown since 1991.  He enjoys amateur astronomy, golf, salt water fishing and teaching adult Sunday School at First Baptist Church Georgetown.

Assistant Principal (J - Q): Terri Conrad

Terri Conrad Mrs. Conrad earned her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science/Neuroscience from the University of Virginia and her Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas. 
 
Prior to entering administration, Mrs. Conrad taught Core, Pre-AP and AP Physics at Georgetown High School, as well as coached the Girls Club Lacrosse team.  Mrs. Conrad has also worked in Austin ISD and for Fairfax County Public Schools (VA).  
 
Mrs. Conrad's hobbies include playing with her dogs, Yzer and Larry, coaching lacrosse, and watching Detroit Redwings Hockey. 

Assistant Principal (R - Z): Tiffani Walker

WalkerMs. Walker earned a Bachelor's of Science in Exercise and Sports Studies at Tarleton State University as well as a Master's of Arts in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.
 
Prior to being an administrator, Ms. Walker was a teacher, coach and curriculum specialist at Harker Heights H.S., as well as in Seguin ISD.  Her goal is to maintain the best environment possible for maximum student achievement in every venue at Georgetown High School. 
 
Ms. Walker's hobbies are:  playing with her daughter and church and community service projects.
