Principal Profile: Cade Smith

Smith Cade Smith has been the campus principal of Georgetown High School since the spring of the 2012-2013 school year.  Mr. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Texas State University, a Master's degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University, and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in School Improvement from Texas State University. 
Prior to Georgetown High School, Mr. Smith served in the Associate Principal and Assistant Principal roles at Frisco High School in Frisco ISD.  He  was a teacher and football coach in the Allen, Kaufman, and Lockhart Independent School Districts. 

Mr. Smith is married and has two children.

Associate Principal: Terri Conrad

Terri Conrad

Mrs. Terri Conrad earned her Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science/Neuroscience from the University of Virginia and her Master's degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Texas.  

Prior to entering administration, Mrs. Conrad taught Core, Pre-AP and AP Physics at Georgetown High School, as well as coached the Girls Club Lacrosse team.  Mrs. Conrad has also worked in Austin ISD and for Fairfax County Public Schools (VA). 

Mrs. Conrad's hobbies include playing with her dogs, Yzer and Larry, coaching lacrosse, and watching Detroit Redwings Hockey.

Assistant Principal (A - Go): Mike Miller

 Mr. Mike Miller earned a Bachelors of Science in Science Education at The University of Texas at Austin minoring in Astronomy and Geology, as well as a Master of Theology degree in Bible Exposition from Dallas Theological Seminary, a Masters in Educational Administration from Southwest Texas State University and superintendent certification from Tarleton State.
Mr. Miller is in his 15th year as a high school administrator, serving his first five years at Belton High School before returning to serve at Georgetown High School as an administrator in 2004. Prior to being an administrator he taught middle school and high school science beginning with one year in Lake Travis ISD and then nine in Georgetown.
Mr. Miller and his family have lived in Georgetown since 1991.  He enjoys amateur astronomy, golf, salt water fishing and teaching adult Sundaychool at First Baptist Church Georgetown.


Assistant Principal (Gp-O): Amanda Silkett

Mrs. Silkett earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Liberal Studies with a history/math emphasis as well a Master’s of Education in EducationAdministration from Tarleton State University - Central Texas. Prior to Georgetown HS, Mrs. Silkett served special education students in Florence ISD and Salado ISD before serving in Killeen ISD as an Principal and Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Amanda Silkett is married to her husband of 25 years and has three grown children as well as a granddaughter.  Her favorite activities include reading, cooking  and spending time with her granddaughter and family. 



Assistant Principal (P-Z): Jeff Roberton

Jeff Roberton Mr. Roberton earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University.  He taught social studies and coached football and baseball before becoming an administrator.  He obtained his master's degree from Lamar University.

Mr. Roberton is married to Laura and has two sons, Brett and Graham.  Mr. Roberton enjoys spending time with his family, exercising, reading, and watching his sons grow up.
