    About Me

I am a Texas native and I grew up in San Antonio, Texas.  I graduated from Churchill High School.  After high school I attended Texas A&M where I met my husband.  Upon my husband's graduation from Texas A&M he became an officer in the army and we were stationed in Fort Riley Kansas. This is led me to finish my degree at Kansas State University.  I have been married for 31 years and have two children and two grandchildren.  I enjoy spending most of my free time with family.  I have taught high school for 11 years, and have worked in the hospital pathology laboratories for 7 years.  After working in the hospital I decided to return to teching to share my real world experiences with students and help them prepare for careers in the healthcare field. This year will be my fifth year teaching at Georgetown High School in the Health Science Technology Department.  I love living and working in Georgetown.  It is a wonderful family oriented community with the best students in the state.  I hope to inspire the students here to love learning, and to prepare them for a career in the health care field.
