lower case cursive will be introduced in the spring
Mathematics

recall addition and subtraction facts
use and understand two digit addition and subtraction with
regrouping
learn multiplication concepts and facts, counting money, telling
time,
measurement, patterns, place value, and geometry
Science/Social Studies
these subjects will be integrated into reading, writing, and math as
well as taught through individual units units include citizenship,
geography, historical events, economics, conservation, plants,
animals, ecology, matter and energy, living things of long ago and
the moon

complete and return homework promptly
read 15 to 30 minutes a day at home

check backpacks daily
read information from school and teacher
establish routines for homework (a place and time)
