Welcome to my home page!

I am a second grade teacher at Annie Purl Elementary. My husband teaches at Southwestern University. I have two daughters with the oldest having graduated from Austin College and the youngest currently attending Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. I have been fortunate to have done a great deal of traveling and try to incorporate my love of other cultures into my classroom. I think it is important for children to know that we are always learning and instill in them a love for learning new things.
