Pre-Kindergarten
Director: Hilda Franks
Child Find The
GISD Special Ed. Department hosts a free screening for children
between the ages of the three and five who may have physical,
medical or learning difficulties. Screenings are held monthly
at Annie Purl Elementary and take about one hour. Parents are
asked to get a statement from their physician that vision and
hearing are both within normal limits prior to the screening.
Shot records, birth certificate and social security number will
also be required at the time of the screening. If you know of
such a child, please call 943-5080 ext. 6043 to schedule an
appointment.
