LOCATION:

The country that colonized Uganda is Britain. That was decided after an Anglo-German agreement decided that Uganda would be a British territory. The indigenous people of Uganda were treated well and with respect. The indigenous people of Uganda had a good life.

Colonization helped the indigenous people. Colonization helped because traders came, and they got self government. They also allowed the Africans were able to be in the Legislative council.

The country of Uganda got its independence by winning an election. They won the election in 1890. That is when a lot of trouble started.

After they became independent and Amin was ruling Amin started a reign of terror. During the reign of terror about 300,000 people got killed. Also during the reign of terror Amin expelled the Asians.

Now, however, they have a pretty good life. They have enough food and money and don’t have many problems.
