Each 9 weeks, every student will complete a current events report. Students will be assigned the day on which their report is due, and will receive a hard copy of the schedule at the beginning of each marking period. In addition, students will tape a copy of the requirements and rubric into their journals. The template/worksheet will be available in the classroom as students are ready to prepare their reports. The schedule, requirements, template and rubric are linked below. Newspapers will be available for student use in my room. Students may also use reliable internet sources (suggestions are listed on the requirements sheet) so long as they can supply a complete link or print the article.
