We will begin our study of the Middle East as tourists, soaking up new sights and sounds as we travel. Students will identify the cultural elements evident in a series of photos of the Middle East, and create picture postcards with a message that calls attention to 3 of these elements. Students will be responsible for creating an illustration, a message in proper format, a mailing address, and a stamp. The project will be in the test/project category for grading purposes.
