Homework Policy:

Homework is to be turned in on the date due at the teacher’s requested time
(Absences are the only exception). |

Students must ask the teacher for work missed due to absence(s).
|

There should be plenty of time for homework assistance during class, but
should a student need additional help, he or she should arrange time with
teacher. Students should also arrange time with the teacher to make up
quizzes and tests. |
Class Rules:

Make every effort to follow all directions.

Arrive to class ON TIME, and with ALL MATERIALS.

Treat others with respect.

Homework/Daily Work 33.3%
Assessments/Tests 66.7%
Please Note: It
is expected that you do your homework on time, and thoroughly prepare for
quizzes and tests; therefore no extra credit is provided.
What should I do if I am ABSENT?????

Make up any in-class
work that was done while you were out. Work through any investigation
covered in class on your own or during tutorials time. |

Make up any homework
assignments that were assigned while you were out. You have as many days as
you were out to complete them. For example, if you were gone 1 day, the work
is due the next day. |

Pick up any handouts
you need from the teacher. |
|
Check with a classroom
neighbor or a friend for notes you may need to copy. |
|
If you missed an
assessment (quiz or test) the day you were absent, it is YOUR JOB to arrange
a time to make it up as soon as possible. |
