Circulation Guidelines

Students may have 3 books checked out.
Students may not check out books if materials are overdue.
Books circulate for two weeks and may be renewed.
Magazines may be checked out but must be returned by the end of the day.

Computer Use/Internet Guidelines

Students MUST have a signed Acceptable Use Policy on file.
Computers are to be used for school assignments.
NO Internet games. (exception: FreeRice.com)
Only Gaggle e-mail is allowed.
Get permission before printing.

The mission of Benold Middle School Library is to promote both reading competency and enjoyment, and to provide instruction in information literacy and curricular support. Students will acquire the necessary skills to become competent seekers and users of information. Our effort is a collaboration with the campus and G.I.S.D. instructional team, district and other professional librarians and information technology specialists.
