A BRIEF HISTORY OF NAMIBIA
The European country that colonized Namibia was Portugal. The Europeans wanted Namibia because they had found diamonds.
The colonization hurt the people. Germany wiped out mny of the Herero tribe. Also South Africa wanted to take over Namibia.
When South Africa wanted to take over Namibia it caused a major battle. Fortunately Namibia won, but after the battle, Namibia was trashed, which took some repairing.
One of the problems they had to face was repairing Namibia because of the battle. Also, they had to overcome racism. Some of the problems they have today are that the meat is expensive and agriculture is subsiding.
I think if this country had never been colonized the Europeans would never have diamonds.
