A BRIEF HISTORY OF UGANDA
The country I am going to tell you about is Uganda. Uganda is a small country in Africa. The British were the explorers that discovered Uganda. The indigenous people were treated fairly in Uganda once the British took over. Uganda became a British protectorate. The indigenous people were safe in Uganda until colonel Amin killed about 300,000 people. He just tortured them or he killed them.
In 1962 Uganda became an independent country by creating good qualities and making a good establishment. Colonel Amin was all for violence which was resulted in many people dying which was a big problem. Today they seem to have a good establishment.
I think that if the British had never colonized Uganda it would be a real problem. I mean, they may have problems with government issues, and they may be fighting for equal rights and stuff like that, but I could look both ways in this situation. The good thing is that now, Ugandans enjoy a good quality of life.
