A BRIEF HISTORY OF UGANDA
The British controlled Uganda. The British treated the Ugandan people very well.
It helped them, because the British showed them how to grow new crops. The British didn’t make the people slaves. They built roads. There was some education and here was a little medical care.
Uganda became independent on October 9, 1962. The problem then and now is war with Tanzania.
