A BRIEF HISTORY OF GHANA
The British took over Ghana in1820. The British took the people as slaves.
When they used them as slaves they got their freedom taken away. They also got treated badly and maybe even beaten.
The way they got their independence back is that i n 1900 they attacked a fort called Kumasi.
They didn’t have any problems after they won their independence. They didn’t have any problems because the British did everything for them. They had the best schools, a civil service, a team of lawyers, and a good press.
