A BRIEF HISTORY OF CAMEROON
In 1884 the Germans got Cameroon. They sold the people as slaves. They were punished for starting WWI so Great Britain and France got Cameroon. The French built schools for the native people.
French Cameroon got their independence January 1, 1960. The British helped them get started. Today they have a democracy.
