A BRIEF HISTORY OF MADAGASCAR
Madagascar was owned by the French. The people were treated as slaves they made them do everything.
When the French people came to Madagascar they were hurting the people to do work for them.
In 1960, they elected Philibert Tsiranana. The additional problem was the army led by Maj.
Comdr. Didier Ratsiraka became the president on June 15, 1975.
