A BRIEF HISTORY OF SOMALIA
France, Great Britain, and Italy colonized Somalia. The British treated the Africans badly and killed many of them. The Europeans were making the Africans work.
In 1960 the British gave independence to Somalia. They had a lot of arguing about becoming peaceful. They are still fighting today among themselves. The U.S.A helped Somalia by giving them food.
