A BRIEF HISTORY OF KENYA
Kenya was owned by the British. It made them feel good for the country. Some people were wishing for freedom so I guess they were slaves.
The people believed independence was worth fighting for, so they did. The British gave them independence and they had a good president. Some of the rebels were trying to get some of the people from Kenya free but they rescued Jomo Kenyatta and he became their leader in 1961. He died in 1978. There was a new president who only cared about his tribe, the Kalenjin.
