A BRIEF HISTORY OF NIGERIA
Nigeria was taken over by the British. The British took the native people as slaves and sold them, which hurt the colonization. The British used the slaves for the spice trade, and to move their palm oil trade closer to the coast line.
In May 30, 1967 Nigeria had a Civil War and won its independence.After the war of independence there was a series of massacres, military protests, and all-out civil war that lasted nearly three years.
To this day Nigeria is a land that continues with violence and chaos while struggling for supremacy.
