Douglas M. Benold
Middle School is a part of the
Georgetown Independent School District. We have a band program with a total
of three bands: Honors Band, Symphonic Band, and 6th Grade Band.
FOR PARENTS
Current research indicates that the fine
arts, especially music, influences the brain and actually stimulates spatial
intelligence. Students who participate in an arts program experience
important learning transfers, in
academic areas.
