Welcome to my home page!  I am the school nurse at Benold Middle School.

Education & Nursing  Background:

  •   Graduated from Boston College in Massachusetts with a Bachelors in Nursing   Science and Simmons College in Massachusetts with a Masters in Nursing Science
  •   Have 22 years of Nursing experience.  Many of these years have been in emergency medicine working with both adults and children
  •   I am a co-founder and instructor for "Fit Kids" which is a health and fitness program for Pre-K and Kindergarten children in Williamson County
  •   Involved in health care initiatives in Williamson county aspiring to increase access to health care for underinsured and uninsured children and adults

Family Information:

    I met my husband, Sean, a native Texan, in Massachusetts.  We relocated to Austin and married 12 years ago (my Mom warned me he'd want to take me to Texas since "all Texans eventually return to Texas").  After the birth of our twin daughters five years ago, we moved to Georgetown and are so very thankful we did.  This community has been terrific to us.  I am thrilled to be working with this exceptional school district and look forward to meeting you all.  Just a warning, I still crave the east coast beaches and sports... so; you may find a stray seashell, painting of the beach, and/or Red Sox logos in my office and clinic.
