Welcome to the Fine Arts Page!

There are three different types of drama, DRAMA I, DRAMA II, and TECHNICAL THEATRE.  In Drama I students act in school plays. In Drama II students mostly do things that have to do with Shakespeare. In Technical Theater students make costumes for plays and make all the props and backgrounds for the plays. Drama is very fun and  anyone who likes to "act" should consider it as their elective.

In ART students do a variety of things - work with clay, paint, and draw.  Student masterpieces are often put on display in the library or in our trophy cases.

In ORCHESTRA students can play string instruments, woodwinds, brass instruments, and percussion instruments. Although the Orchestra room may be in the 8th grade hallway don't be afraid to try it.

In CHOIR students sing and learn how to read music.  There are also competitions and concerts. Choir is composed of honor choir, mixed choir, sixth grade choir, and treble choir. If singing is "your thing" join choir and have lots of fun!

BAND is very different than Orchestra.  Band is a mixture of wind instruments. Our band at Benold participates in concerts, competitions, and pep rallies. There are different bands  - beginners  symphonic, honor.
