Football Ends with a Crown!

Benold concluded a very successful 2008 Football Season, with the highlight being the 7th Grade A Team Winning the District Championship!  The Eagles upended Henry MS 8-0 for the Title and finished the year at 8-1.

The 7th Grade B Team, by virtue of the Tie-Breaker system played for and won 3rd Place with a 12-0 win over inner-city rival Tippit.  The 7th B Team finished at 7-2.

The amazing 8th Grade B Team, playing for the District Title themselves, came up one possession short and finished District Runner-Up with their 12-6 loss at Running Brushy.  The 8th Grade B Team finished 8-1.

Overall, Benold posted a 25-11 record combining 7th and 8th Grades and won 6 of 8 against Forbes and Tippit!
