1. No negative cheering. 2. No conversations OR non-verbal communication with cheerleaders, players or fans. 3. Report any disrespectful attitudes from other girls, players or fans to the coach immediately. 4. Stand attention with hands behind your back when not cheering. 5. NO throwing or swinging your poms. 6. Follow the game. Have someone give you a tutorial in football and basketball if you don’t have a clue! You especially need to know when we are on DEFENSE. 7. If you don’t know the chant, just clasp with the rhythm until you pick it up. Don’t just stand there. 8. Jump when we score. 9. Pay attention to the crowd. If they are cheering you should be as well! 10. Always smile! 11. If a player on either team gets hurt, go to the ground on your right knee. Applaud when he walks off the field or gets up to play. 12. DO NOT do anything we haven’t practiced. This is not the time to experiment. 13. Stunt whenever you can-only when Miss Doss is watching. 14. Use your best manners at all times. Remember-you represent Benold. 15. Miss Doss needs to know where you are at all times. I am responsible for you. You MUST check out with me before you leave any event. 16. Keep your belongings with an adult or in my room. Please don’t ask me to hold your jewelry-I might lose it! 17. Have a good time!! If you don’t the fans won’t.
