Welcome to my home page!  I am the school nurse at Benold Middle School.

Education & Nursing  Background:

  • Graduated from Junction High School
  • Graduated from Angelo State University, San Angelo, TX, 1973, Associate Science in Nursing; Teacher Certification courses at Texas State University in San Marcos
  • 30 years experience at GISD
  • 13 years as elementary school nurse in GISD
  • 9 years implementing and teaching Health Science Technology courses at Georgetown High School
  • 8 years as middle school nurse at Forbes Middle School/Benold Middle School
  • Certified CPR Instructor
  • Previous nursing experience in hospital nursing as well as physician's office

Family Information:

I am married to Pete Zenner, former GISD administrator.  We moved to Georgetown in 1979.  We have two daughters, both of whom graduated from Georgetown High School.  Ashley graduated from Texas Tech with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation.  She married Eric Willard and they live in Rockdale, TX. where Ashley teaches Early Childhood Education and Eric is a middle school social studies teacher/coach.  They are the parents to our two grandchildren, Mason Crae Willard, born June 15, 2005 and his brother, Brody James Willard, born May 29, 2007. 

Lauren graduated from Tarleton State University in Stephenville May, 2007 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  She is employed by Rockdale ISD as a first grade teacher. Lauren married her high school sweetheart, Micheal Williams of Georgetown  Both Lauren and Micheal are former students of Benold Middle School and graduated from Georgetown High School in 2003. Lauren is pregnant with a due date of March 11, 2009, with our third grandson.

 My plans are to retire at the end of this school year and to find a part time job, slow down and enjoy family and friends and the many blessings that I have been given.
