  • Saturday 10/21/17 Red Poppy Reveal 10:00 am

    The Georgetown Elementary Librarians are working together on a new program that selects great books for K-2nd, to compliment the Blue Bonnet Books. They recently held a contest to design a t-shirt and book sticker for the program. The reveal party and a showcase of the Red Poppy Books will be on 10/21/17 at 10 am in the Children's Room at the Georgetown Public Library.

  • 10/23 - 10/27/17 -Wild West Book Fair

    Saddle Up & Read at our Wild West Book Fair! Students will have the opportunity to visit the book fair with their class. Open to parents Monday 3:10-5:30pm, Tuesday 7:30 - 8:00am/3:10-7:30pm, Wednesday 7:30-8:00 am/3:10-5:30pm, Thursday 7:30-8:00am/3:10-7:30pm, Friday 7:30-8:00am (bookfair closes at Noon).

    PTA is hosting a fun-filled night with dancing, games and a costume contest! Ticket sale sheet will be gong home soon. Food will be available for purchase.

  • Friday, 11/3/17 - Fall Picture Retake Day

    If your child was absent on our original picture day (9/22) or is new to Carver, Fall Picture retakes will happen today. If you were not satisfied with your child's original pictures that were taken in September, return the entire picture package and let your child's teacher know that you would like retakes. Turning in the picture package ensures you will receive credit for the original payment.

  • GISD Supports National School Bus Safety Week

    Georgetown ISD is proud to support this year’s National School Bus Safety Week and its important message for drivers to treat school buses loading and unloading children as a “Bully Free Zone.” This year’s annual campaign, which emphasizes safe driving behavior, will take place Oct. 16-20.

    The Georgetown Independent School District is seeking membership for the District Performance Council (DPC). There are three categories of membership outside of the district: parents, community members and business members. In order to serve as a parent representative, you must have students enrolled in the district.

    This October, Georgetown ISD is partnering with H-E-B to host a flu shot clinic at all of our campuses. Flu shots will be available for students, parents, other family members, and GISD employees
