We are ready to start a
new year. We are looking forward to a great year and helping each student
learn how to enjoy being active and learn ways to stay healthy. We hope this
site will also help keep you aware of what we are doing. There is a lot of
information that you can find by following the links below or at the top of
the page. Some of the papers we send home can be found here along with many
of the Health lessons we teach.
We have one Adaptive P.E. Coach with us this year. She is Beverly Poehls. We sent a letter home at the first of the school year. If you need to view this letter click on the Parent Letter link on this page. This year we will be having lessons on many different topics. We will be sending many papers home that inform you of what we have been studying in class. We teach the Health here at Carver also. Our first lesson was on Bus Safety. You can click on the Bus Safety link at the top left of the page to see what we talked about. We just finished talking about germs and staying healthy by staying clean. Below are some questions having to do with that lesson. If your child brings us the answer we will give them a prize.
Here are the questions for your child to answer and bring to
P.E. to receive a prize.
1. You should always put _______ __________
on your skin before going out in the sun?
2. You can wear ______________ to protect your
eyes from the sun if they have UV protection?
3. Wearing a ____________ will help protect your face
and nose from the suns rays..
