Notes
We received our Jump Rope for
Heart thank you gifts and our Marathon Kids T-shirts and we handed them out last
week. I know the kids were excited to get them. Thanks go to all the parents
who supported both of these events. Be sure sign up and participate in both
again next year. We have put pictures of the Marathon Kids who attended the
Final Mile and also those who received a T-Shirt on our website.
Buddy
Day Is Coming Soon!!! We will be sending home the volunteer sign-up and
shirt order form soon. This year we are going Western. We are planning on May
22nd for the date. We will have Inflatables, Snow Cones, Belly
Bumpers and many other activities. We can’t wait. Be sure and sign up
to help and buy a Buddy Day shirt for your child, or your entire family.

More Nestle Water Labels!!! Nestles is not doing the school water label
promotion anymore. They plan on doing a family oriented program. You may want
to continue saving the labels if you continue to drink Nestle Water but please
don’t send us the labels. We have sent in around 15,000 labels this year which
gives us around 30,000 points to order from their catalogue. Thanks for all
your support while we participated in this program.

Madness!! We have had fun talking about the College Basketball Playoffs.
We have put the Sweet 16 bracket on our wall and have it down to the Final
Four. You can see our wall on our web site. I have also changed this month’s
question to relate to the tournament. This Saturday will be the Final 4 playoff
and then next Monday the students will be signing on the team’s ball they want
to win the Championship which is Monday night. Have fun watching the last few
games this year. Ask your child which teams are still playing and who they
like.
Southwestern
University has a Sports Day Camp this summer June 8 – 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m. You can pickup a brochure in the office if you are interested and want
more information.
We will be
talking about being Safe In the Sun and Water Safety in the next few weeks. Be
sure and put on that sun screen when being outside and be safe at the swimming
pool or the lake.
