Mrs.
Nancy Bottlinger
is the Principal at Carver Elementary.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University with a BS degree in Elementary Education, Spanish, and Bilingual Education. Many years later, I went to Texas State University and received my Masters in Education Administration. I was a classroom teacher for 21 years and have been an assistant principal for 5 years. I have had many wonderful teaching experiences in Georgetown, Los Angeles, California, McKinney, Texas, and Frisco, Texas. I hope to continue working in schools for a very long time!

I love Georgetown. My family moved here when I was in the seventh grade. I was lucky to have the opportunity for my own children to grow up in Georgetown. My daughter, Kimberly, is a senior at North Texas State University. My son, Kyle, is a freshman at Texas Tech University. He was a Frost Scholar when he was in first and second grade. My husband, Clark, and I enjoy camping, boating, and playing with Riley, our sweet dog.

Mrs. Cathy Hord
is the Assistant Principal at Carver Elementary.

The majority of Mrs. Hord's undergraduate hours are from the University of Texas at Austin.  However, her bachelor's degree is from Tarleton State University in Stephenville.  She also received a master's degree in elementary education from Tarleton in 1978.  Mrs. Hord's principal certification was earned from Texas State University at San Marcos.

She was a classroom teacher for 27 years teaching at the elementary level mostly with GISD.  Her leadership at Carver began in the 2004-2005 school year.
