For those of you wanting to make play doh like we used for our moving plate models, here is the recipe:

Mix:    2 C flour

            1 C salt

            4 teaspoons cream of tartar                                

            4 tablespoons of cooking oil

Add:    2 cups water and mix well

Cook over medium heat ,stirring until mixture forms a ball
