GISD's
Information Systems team provides support to all campus personnel and
administrators using the district's student information software: SASI,
ClassXP, and IntegradePro gradebook. The team also coordinates the data
collection and reporting to the Texas Education Agency through the process of
the Public Information Management System (PEIMS).
GISD's student information system is SASIxp, a product of Pearson Education Technology. SASI handles all aspects of student data, including: registration, enrollment, grade reporting, transcripts, course history, scheduling, attendance, discipline, health/medical information, and state-required PEIMS reporting. In addition, GISD uses the gradebook component of SASI, Integrade Pro.
The Information Systems team plans on implementing a third integrated piece of software called ParentConnect soon. This software will allow parents secure, online access to grades and attendance.
Campus registrars can use this form to request the addition of a new course to the district course file.
To request access to SASI, please complete the form linked above and get all the appropriate signatures, then fax to Vickie Simpson at 943-5199.
