    On April 26, from 1:30- 2:30 p.m. GHS will celebrate our students who are signing their committment to serve in the United States Military.  All students and parents are encouraged to attend and celebrate this momentous occasion.

    My Education & Teaching Background

    I graduated from Belmont University located in Nashville, Tennessee with a B.S. in History.  I have graduate degrees in Education and Professional Counseling with a Certificate in School Counseling.  I have been in public education and higher education for 35+ years.  I have coached soccer and taught education courses at the collegiate level.  My wife and I have made our home in Georgetown since 2013.

    This website is a place that students and parents can go to find the latest news on scholarship opportunities, college visits, and college information in general.  It is our goal to have the website up to date with all the latest news and offerings.  My purpose is to help assist students with scholarships, testing, applying for school, helping find the right school, and advising students about college in general.
    *Local Scholarships can be found in Naviance.  Access to Naviance for students is with the student's GISD Username and Password in ClassLink  Once in ClassLink, students will click on Naviance App
    Once logged into Naviance, click on the colleges tab
    Scroll down to scholarships & money and click on scholarship List

    View and apply for which Local Scholarships that are relevant for you.  Be sure to look at deadlines and requirements for each specific scholarship.
