Now that the education summits have concluded, Georgetown ISD is asking every member of the community to complete the following online survey. The survey is intended to gather additional input from parents, students, community members, and partners to help create the profile of a GISD learner.
The Georgetown community is invited to attend a “come-and-go” viewing of the materials that GISD is considering purchasing as supplemental instructional material for K-12 Social Studies, K-12 Fine Arts, and High School Math. Materials for these subject areas are up for selection in 2015 as part of the State Board of Education’s annual instructional materials adoption process.
The Georgetown ISD Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) public hearing scheduled for Monday, Feb. 23 has been postponed due to the possibility of inclement weather. The public hearing has been rescheduled for Monday, March 2 at 6pm in the GISD Board Room.
