The 63rd annual Midwest Clinic held in December 2009 in Chicago.  The Midwest Clinic showcases musical excellence from across our planet. Over 15,000 music educators, composers and professional musicians from points all over the world attend the conference. For the 2009 conference, only three middle school bands were selected for performance. The Forbes Honors Band will be working all fall to prepare a concert of eight musical selections for performance in front of thousands of musicians. Obviously, this is a huge honor and a phenomenal accomplishment for the hard-working band students at Forbes.
