Campus Mission Statement It is our mission to provide all students a quality education in a safe environment to develop responsible citizens and lifelong learners for success in the modern world. Today's preparation determines tomorrow's achievement.
Campus Improvement Team Forbes Middle School (FMS) has a site-based planning and decision making committee that is known as the Campus Improvement Team. The team is composed of teachers, parents, community representatives, and administrators from the campus. The role of the team is to advise the principal on matters affecting student performance and is therefore involved in establishing and reviewing campus education plans, goals, performance objectives, and major classroom instructional programs. The team also assists in developing, reviewing, and revising the campus improvement plan. Additionally, the team is involved in decisions in the areas of planning, budgeting, curriculum, staffing patterns, staff development, and school organization. To accomplish these things, the team develops a Campus Action Plan with goals and actions for the school year.
