Welcome to my home page!  I teach 8th grade American History here at Forbes Middle School!

Education & Teaching Background:

• Texas A&M University, Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies; Class of '04!!!
• Texas Certification in Social Studies, English/Language Arts, and ESL for grades 4-8.
• I student-taught here at Forbes with Mrs. Smith in 6th grade Social Studies.
• This is my fourth year teaching and it is going to be a great year.

Mr. Goodwin is also a graduate of Texas A&M University.  He loves to hunt and will be MIA for most of deer season!

Online Gradebook:  Parents have access to their children's grades through the school website.  Please allow 5 week days to grade tests, especially essay tests.  Daily grades will be entered every couple of days.  If you have a question regarding a specific grade, please ask your student and if they don't have an answer for you, feel free to email me!
