What makes Diamond Trade important in Africa?
Diamonds are Africa's source of money. The importance of the diamonds is that the Africans trade the diamonds for weapons and tools that the army uses in the war. Now they have a source of protection.

What is Diamond Trade?

Diamond Trade is the treasure that people illegally dig for. When they dig for it, they are actually stealing the diamonds, that's why it is illegal.

What makes diamond a problem in Africa?
The Africans love the diamonds and that's how they pay for things, but the problem is it's illegal. When you dig for the diamonds you actually steal them! The Africans are trading the army's tools and weapons for the diamonds. That means that if the Army gets caught they will be responsible for the stealing of the diamonds.

How does the government play a role in diamond trade?
The government try to stop the Africans
from digging for diamonds because if it gets too out of hand some of them could
go to jail. The
Government and Civil Society try to derive a
greater development impact from the diamond industry.

How I would attempt to fix or correct this.
I would go to Africa and try to bring something that they
liked more than diamonds so they can use what I bring for there source of money.

What is the global reaction to diamond trade?
When the Africans dig for diamonds they
tear up the ground and when it grows back together it's uneven.
