Forbes 8th grader Carter Hewlett attended Education in Action's Lone Star Leadership Academy in Austin this summer.  Congratulations to him and to Brittany Steele and Katie Neans for their nomination for, and participation in, Lone Star Leadership Academy programs during the summer of 2006.  Katie attended the Austin program and Brittany attended the Houston program.  For more information about Lone Star Leadership Academy go to www.eiatx.org

To further understand other people, their culture, and the places they call home, we must first look at the history from which they exist.  Our curriculum is designed so that we study these groups by geographical region.
