bulletPen or pencil
bulletAssignment Notebook

Assignment Notebooks- Students are asked to record all assignments, tests, and projects in their Assignment Notebook. The Assignment Notebook builds a student's responsibility and time management skills. Encourage the use of a planner as it can be a lifelong tool.

Warm-ups are questions written on the board each day; students should record the question and answer as soon as they enter. The questions relate to information studied the previous day or to be covered during class that day.

Journal writing allows students to reflect on information learned as well as to practice their writing skills.
