Brief Bio:       I am a native Texan, born in Abilene, and raised in Austin.  I have lived with my family in Georgetown for fourteen years.  My wife, Rhonda Smith is the High School Counselor at Richarte High School.  My past experience includes eighteen years in international high-tech, corporate human resources as a Manager, Director and Vice-President.  Education is my second career.  I am passionate about kids and science! In 2001, my wife and I built a travel-adventure camp for boys.  Each spring and summer break I take young men on western travel exploration adventures and teach field science, introduction to leadership and history of the westward expansion.  Our camp is called Fort Smith Mountain Men, http://www.FortSmithMountainMen.com and is modeled after a camp a man took me on when I was 12-13.  I am the Scoutmaster of BSA Troop #1803.  My hobbies include fly fishing, camping, reading and exercising.  I love everything about the outdoors!   My wife and I have grown children and two roommates:  Grady, a ninety-pound, seven year old golden retriever who travels with our youth camp and has been in every western state, two provinces of Canada and Alaska and one cat, Jonah.
