Welcome to 6th Grade Social Studies! Mrs. Smith has posted the Computer Projects that we have been working on in class from 2/2/10-2/11/10! Core classes made PowerPoint presentations, and Pre-AP classes made web pages. Go to the Africa Computer Project page of my website, then find your name to see your work!

During the 2009-2010 school year, in accordance with the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS), Georgetown ISD's Scope and Sequence, and social studies Objectives, our class will focus on the following:

First Nine Weeks: Geography, Contemporary Middle East
 Second Nine Weeks: Historical and Contemporary Europe
 Third Nine Weeks: Cultures of Africa and Asia
 Fourth Nine Weeks: Latin America, World Connections
